Many people make a journey to Roman Catholicism later in their lives. In order to understand exactly what the church teaches, those seeking entry must attend the RCIA programme – Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults. Over several weeks attendees are taught the catechesis or fundamental beliefs of the church. The following Easter RCIA candidates are presented for entry into the fellowship of the Elect at the Cathedral in Brentwood, followed by baptism and first communion at Easter.
